Calif. – December 18, 2007 – Rainmaker Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RMKR), a leading provider of sales and marketing solutions combining hosted application software and execution services, today announced that one of its Fortune 500 global network computing clients has named Rainmaker as their exclusive teleservices provider. Rainmaker was awarded the two-year contract extension based on the success of the pilot program for lead development services it has had in place with this Client over the past year.
Under the terms of the expanded agreement, Rainmaker will deploy its proprietary LeadWorks™ platform throughout the Client's entire global footprint to identify, generate, nurture and manage leads from multiple sources, including for the first time the Client's installed customer base. Rainmaker will create, manage and deliver web and phone based sales services in select territories, and will continue to expand globally to drive incremental top line revenue to the Client's sales organization.
Rainmaker will work together with the Client's worldwide field sales account managers and resellers across the Client's full range of products, including systems, storage, software and new service contracts, and will be responsible for cross-sell and up-sell campaigns to existing customers.
