Potential Partners Identified Throughout U.S. and Canada for Comprehensive
Tele-Web and Marketing Services Support Program

Campbell, Calif. – April 12, 2007 – Rainmaker Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RMKR), a leading provider of sales and marketing solutions combining hosted application software and execution services, today announced that its leading global information technology (IT) management software client extended its agreement with Rainmaker to increase the number of active partners participating in the client's Onsite PC Protection Program throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Rainmaker has identified potential targets for an integrated Tele-web sales and marketing-support campaign designed to recruit, nurture and train the client's Onsite PC Protection Program partners.

Working as an extension of the client's sales team, Rainmaker will contact owners and decision makers to demonstrate the advantages of the program and recruit new partners. Rainmaker also will work with the client's existing partner base and newly recruited partners to seek to ensure that they are registered for and properly trained on the client's Onsite PC Support portal. Systematic reporting procedures will update the client on key aspects of the recruiting and nurturing campaign.

Rainmaker will deploy its proprietary LeadWorks™ technology to drive Tele-web sales and a comprehensive, integrated marketing support campaign, including Web banner placement, email, enewsletter, and outbound tele-sales efforts. Training for registered partners and technicians on the client's Onsite PC Support portal will be accomplished through ViewCentral™, Rainmaker's Web-based, live and/or pre-recorded training solution.
