RAINMAKER EXTENDS AGREEMENT WITH FORTUNE 50
HARDWARE CLIENT FOR LEAD DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

Campbell, Calif. – March 8, 2007Rainmaker Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:RMKR), a leading provider of sales and marketing solutions combining hosted application software and execution services, today announced that its agreement to provide lead development services for one of its Fortune 50 hardware clients has been extended for an 18-month term.

Under the terms of the renewed agreement, Rainmaker will provide Decision Maker Identification, Account Profiling, and Lead Generation and Nurturing services through a multi-touch, outbound telemarketing program. The program is designed to generate incremental revenue across multiple product and solution groups for this Client from targeted non-named enterprise accounts and accounts from SMB organizations.

An important aspect of the three-phase program is to develop key indicators for prospect nurturing in order to more intelligently drive marketing activities, improving Rainmaker’s ability to target the right decision-maker with the right message at the right time. Rainmaker delivers these leads and new business opportunities to the Client in support of both direct and channel sales forces.

Rainmaker utilizes its proprietary Revenue Delivery Platformsm to leverage strategic lead development with multi-touch outbound marketing activities and inbound response management services to further engage the Client’s prospects and drive sales.
