Rainmaker Expands Engagement with Existing
Fortune 500 Global Network Computing Supplier

Client to license Rainmaker’s on-demand training solution

 

 

Campbell, Calif. – January 11, 2007 – Rainmaker Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RMKR), a leading outsource provider of business-to-business sales and marketing services, today announced that one of its existing Fortune 500 clients has selected Rainmaker’s on-demand training solution to provide a comprehensive technology-based training program to help increase its sales.

 

The ability to cross-sell the training solution to this client (currently using Rainmaker’s Revenue Delivery Platform to drive product and service sales and lead generation) was enabled by Rainmaker’s recent acquisition of ViewCentral, a provider of on-demand applications for enterprise training and marketing.

 

The Rainmaker solution provides for an innovative branded portal that will provide the client’s sales team with access to information, materials and training on all products, including embedded exams as part of a self-paced, comprehensive training and certification program. It also will provide access to reports on student attendance, progress and completion.

The Rainmaker solution for this client will include: planning and developing training options and content; developing training certification; provisioning the training management system for posting courses and managing registration; scheduling and conducting training sessions; and offering repeated training opportunities as staff and responsibilities change.
